A dedicated three-year player and two-year captain, Tanvir's
commitment to his team exemplifies "team spirit" and
"dedication" in their highest sense. His post-graduation
contributions to the team include, to date, a documentary on our
2007 championship season, an award-winning video for a bat
contest, and a recruitment video for our school and team.

A two-year player whose dedication to his team is evidenced not
only by his two year playing varsity baseball but also by his
years as a volunteer assistant coach. In his first three years in that
role, he bicycled all over Queens and Brooklyn to fulfill the role
that he created. Joe has helped lead the team to a city
championship and numerous playoff berths.

Volunteer Assistant Coach 2014, 2016…
A four-year player who demonstrated his commitment and passion for his team through his
organization of many team events, including the first-ever trip to Cooperstown. In 2011,
Armando became the Tigers’ first-ever four-year captain. Armando demonstrated what it was to
be a Tiger by playing a major role in producing a first place bat contest video and a recruitment
video for Queens Voc, and leading the team’s many community service projects. As assistant
coach, Armando encourages players to help the team and become leaders, just as he did.
Armando volunteered as assistant coach for the 2014 and 2016 seasons, and helped lead the team
to the playoffs in the 2016 season.
