The Queens Vocational & Technical High School Varsity Baseball Team has been successful both on and off the field.
For the past ten years, the team has made it to the playoffs. In 2005, the team won its first division championship. In 2007, the team finished in first place in the PSAL Queens North B Division and went on to win the New York City B Division Championship.
The team has been recognized by the Partnership for Parks for its work at numerous It's My Park! days. The team is also an MLB Action Team, working with several community organizations and the parks department.
To be Tigers, team members must prove their dedication and skills not only on the field but in their school work and in the plethora of activities in which the team participates.
The team takes pride in the numerous members who regularly achieve Honor Roll. To the Tigers, academics comes first.
